Draw the Future Museum

Join us (wrapped up) for this drop in Big Draw event at the museum. We have now got the design for the new museum sorted, and we’d like you to tell us what you’d like to see inside. Come along for FREE to the museum and snoop around the boat shed for inspiration before putting thoughts and drawings to the large-scale mural.

Lakeland Arts is delighted to be part of the first ever national Family Arts Festival, aiming to make creative opportunities more available for families to access and enjoy in our museums and galleries. We have four wonderful spaces to delight in at Lakeland Arts, and during half term, there are four special events for families to enjoy. Come to Puppet Performers on Monday at Abbot Hall Art Gallery. Pop into Monster Museum on Wednesday at Museum of Lakeland Life & Industry. Join our Spooky Sleepover at Blackwell on Thursday night and then come and Draw the Future Museum at Windermere Steamboat Museum on Friday. As the days get shorter and the winter draws in – the Family Arts Festival is something to celebrate!
